FNCU launches Gold Key Card

First National Credit Union launches 'Gold Key' Customer Service Card

The First National Credit Union Cooperative Society Limited (FNCU) has broken new ground and made another giant step in the direction of customer service. The FNCU Gold Key card, the first of its kind in the Credit Union sector was launched in dramatic style on Thursday 19th August 2004 at Ball Room, Paria Suites, South Trunk Road, LaRomaine in a function titled Golden Partnerships. The new Gold Key card serves as a key tool in First National Credit Union’s drive to deliver a higher standard of service to its loyal customers thereby providing benefits to respective card holders.

The Gold Key card is a special membership card that allows the cardholder access to a number of specially designed benefits when conducting business with First National Credit Union. The card is personalised bearing the name and credit union account number of the recipient.

The card has been specifically designed as a form of appreciation to valued members for the support given over time. FNCU believes that it is important for those belonging to its business network to be made aware of their value to the organisation. All members who are Netsavers with savings of $50,000 or more are eligible for the Gold Key card and as such will be entitled to all benefits associated with the card.

The Gold Key card allows the cardholder the following introductory benefits with the promise of increased benefits over time:

A discount of 1% on the organisation’s average lending rate

A discount of 3% on all ticket purchases at FNCU Travel Company

A discount of 5% accessible at Salybia Resort and Spa.

The provision of a personal banking service

No service charges on standing orders

Feature Speaker Daniel Lambert; CEO Financial Concepts Limited., during his presentation, explored the realities confronting the Credit Union, saying that competition is on its way and members need to be more vigilant with respect to their investment, greater membership and size, he added, is the key ingredient, “the more we are is the more powerful we will be in the world of Business.”

The Launch was attended by representatives in the Financial & Business sector, Directors of First National Credit Union and Card Recipients.

Mrs. Deborah Jean Baptise-Samuel filled the role as host with cleverly crafted monologues innovatively interwoven into presentations from President of FNCU; Ingrid Campbell, General Manager; Mayon T. Murray and feature speaker Daniel Lambert; CEO Financial Concepts Limited.

Entertainment for the evening was provided by extempo extraordinaire Big B.

FNCU’s new corporate identity and strategic plan 2004/2005 was also revealed at the function.
