First National Credit Union launches 'Gold Key' Customer Service Card
The First National Credit Union Cooperative Society Limited (FNCU) has
broken new ground and made another giant step in the direction of
customer service. The FNCU Gold Key card, the first of its kind in the Credit Union sector was launched in dramatic style on Thursday 19th
August 2004 at Ball Room, Paria Suites, South Trunk Road, LaRomaine in
a function titled Golden Partnerships. The new Gold Key card serves as
a key tool in First National Credit Union’s drive to deliver a higher
standard of service to its loyal customers thereby providing benefits
to respective card holders.
The Gold Key card is a special membership card that allows the
cardholder access to a number of specially designed benefits when
conducting business with First National Credit Union. The card is
personalised bearing the name and credit union account number of the
recipient.
The card has been specifically designed as a form of appreciation to
valued members for the support given over time. FNCU believes that it
is important for those belonging to its business network to be made
aware of their value to the organisation. All members who are Netsavers
with savings of $50,000 or more are eligible for the Gold Key card and
as such will be entitled to all benefits associated with the card.
The Gold Key card allows the cardholder the following introductory benefits with the promise of increased benefits over time:
A discount of 1% on the organisation’s average lending rate
A discount of 3% on all ticket purchases at FNCU Travel Company
A discount of 5% accessible at Salybia Resort and Spa.
The provision of a personal banking service
No service charges on standing orders
Feature Speaker Daniel Lambert; CEO Financial Concepts Limited., during
his presentation, explored the realities confronting the Credit Union,
saying that competition is on its way and members need to be more
vigilant with respect to their investment, greater membership and size,
he added, is the key ingredient, “the more we are is the more powerful
we will be in the world of Business.”
The Launch was attended by representatives in the Financial &
Business sector, Directors of First National Credit Union and Card
Recipients.
Mrs. Deborah Jean Baptise-Samuel filled the role as host with cleverly
crafted monologues innovatively interwoven into presentations from
President of FNCU; Ingrid Campbell, General Manager; Mayon T. Murray
and feature speaker Daniel Lambert; CEO Financial Concepts Limited.
Entertainment for the evening was provided by extempo extraordinaire Big B.
FNCU’s new corporate identity and strategic plan 2004/2005 was also revealed at the function.
