FNCU Scholarship Awards

OPENING THE DOOR OF OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUTH

In 2004 the First National Credit Union presented its  eleventh consecutive annual Secondary Entrance Assessment Scholarship Programme. The presentation paid tribute to 28 young men and women each receiving a special scholarship which facilitates their ongoing drive to academic excellence at secondary school level.

The Secondary Entrance Assessment Scholarship Programme introduced in 1993 was born out of the desire to give unequivocal support to the children of members of First National Credit Union who have the dream of pursuing their secondary education and have excelled and/or found themselves in a situation of need. Placing 5th nationally in te SEA Exam 2004 was Terek Trim, and proudly was one  of the recipients of the 2004 scholarship.
