FNCU SEA Seminar

First National Credit Union hosted the first of its annual Self-Esteem Workshops for SEA students for 2004. The seminar entitled “Creating a Positive Identity” was held for the schools of Curepe at the Curepe Fatima RC Parish Hall. Students from Curepe Anglican Primary School, Curepe Fatima RC School, Curepe Presbyterian School, Spring Village Hindu School and Riverside Hindu School were invited to participate in the highly motivational programme.

 

The main objective of the seminar was to smooth the transition of the SEA students from primary school to secondary school, by building self-appreciation for their talents and attributes and building self-esteem. It was a fun day for all as the children engaged in skill building activities and participated in group presentations under the guidance of the well-trained counsellors from Families in Action.
