existence on September 18th, 2003. The office is located at #22,
Park Street, Port of Spain. The members of the Board of Directors

FNCU Venture Capital Company Limited
FNCU Venture Capital Company Limited was incorporated in 1998
and was successfully listed on the Second Tier Market of the Trinidad
and Tobago Stock Exchange in 2001. This fund has an Authorized
Share Capital of TTD 10, 000,000 or USD 1,600,000 and has issued
4,455,000 ordinary shares as at July 31, 2004. The members of the
Board of Directors are Mr. James Lambert, Mr. Peter Permell, Mr
Deryck Murray, Mr Keith Miller, Mr Trevor Cyrus, Mr Patrick Tam,
Mr Gregory Mc Guire and Mr Courtnal Legendre.
The FNCU-VCCL Company is managed by Financial Concepts Limited
(FCL), the registered Investment Advisor under the Securities
and Exchange Commission.
The role of FCL is twofold:
- Solicit deposits for the Venture Capital Company
- Review potential investment options and make recommendations
to the Board of the Venture Capital Company
As the fund manager, FCL explores the domestic market for investment
opportunities, seeking companies in the growth or mature phase
of the business life cycle, thereby ensuring that the market potential
for products or services of the investee company is assured for
the five (5) year investment period. The fund has a bias for investments
in QIC’s which engage in export related activity, the Energy
sector, Tourism and Marine Transportation industries. The fund
will not invest in those companies whose operations are harmful
to the environment.

FIRCON
FIRCON Property Management Company Limited is a subsidiary of
First National Credit Union and was incorporated on February 4th
2000. FNCU and FIRCON has a lease agreement, where FIRCON is the
leasor and FNCU is the lessee. FIRCON performs the usual responsibilities
allocated to landlord and tenant, such as repairs and maintenance
and building renovations and upgrades. FIRCON is also responsible
for the liquidation of corporate and other assets of FNCU and the
sale of delinquent properties.

Limited (previously named FNCU - Credit Bureau) is a
duly incorporated limited liability company under the Companies’ Act
1995. It was incorporated on November 23, 2000 and its registered
address is Fircon House,Corner Bushe
Street & Southern Main Road, Curepe.
The
Company is a fully owned subsidiary of the First National Credit
Union. The members of the Board of directors
are Mr. Anthony Moore, Ms. Marjorie Andrews, Mr.
Trevor Cyrus, Mr. Mayon Murray and Mr. Deryck Murray.
Organisation Structure
The organisational structure includes a Board of Directors and
a team of Financial Management Consultants – Financial Concepts
Limited (FCL) who were contracted by the principal shareholders
to manage the Credit Bureau on its behalf.
Company products and Services
The main Services of the Credit Bureau are:
- Credit Reporting and Information Dissemination
This
service is effected via credit reports, which will contain the
following data:
- Confirmation of the details of the member or borrower
- The date the account was opened
- The date of the last payment
- The type of facility - loan/credit and the repayment arrangement
- A statement on the client’s rating and a recommendation
if necessary
- Debt Factoring
The purchase of delinquent
accounts from credit unions nationwide, without recourse for
credit losses and assumes all risks involved.
- Debt Recovery
This service emanates from
the debt factoring service and involves the collection of the
debts.
- Education and Training
Training is to be
offered in Credit Management skills through the following mediums:
- Seminars
- Workshops
- Audio-visual Training aids
